This is Heather.
Heather Still is an intern healthcare consultant at Kaleidoscope.
On her way to completing her Master's in Health Psychology, Heather has worked with various client populations as an assistant psychologist and in service management in the charity sector, providing economic research to implement online therapy to psychotherapeutic understandings of long term health conditions.
As an emergency response volunteer for the British Red Cross, she gives practical and counselling support to vulnerable populations, for which her efforts were recognised with the Dunant Award for outstanding achievement this year. These experiences created a desire to redress some of the health and social care inequalities faced in Britain.
Similar to Kaleidoscope’s ethos, she is particularly interested in humanising evidence based research and fully integrating social and mental wellbeing into recovery.
Heather is a spoken word performer (a poet in other words – but louder and angrier). She also loves vintage fashion, singing soul and gospel music, hip-hop dancing, and trained for several years in musical theatre.
